SVODODA SOBECTVÍ ZBAVENÁ

Němeček, David
In: , s. 7 - 13. ISBN:

Abstract

The European politicians from Central Europe use a very strange definition of liberalism. This strange definition leaves out the idea of equal opportunities – one of the two liberal principles. This omission is one of the results brought by the radical liberalism. Radical liberals protect liberty so strongly that they refuse any equality. They are afraid of the propensity to the totalitarianism so they refuse almost all state interventions. Radical liberals forget that an absolute refusing of the equality leads to breaking of one of the liberal principles. Liberty without equal opportunity leads to the same illiberal situation as equality without individual liberty. Both of the liberal principles must be preserved if we want to live in a liberal society. Contemporary liberals should find a solution to unite the liberal principles.

Bíziková, Viktória
In: , s. 14 - 20. ISBN:

Abstract

Culture as a very complex phenomenon of multiple meanings is an integral part of the educational reality. In this article we highlight the different contexts of culture and education and their relationship. We analyse culture as a part of the learning environment and one of the external determinants influencing the educational process. Given the anthropological background of culture and education we raise the question of "educated man" and the need to educate.

KOMUNIKÁCIA V ZÁUJMOVÝCH A PROFESIJNÝCH SKUPINÁCH

Záborská, Alena
In: , s. 35 - 41. ISBN:

Abstract

The paper deals with the communication within hobby and professional groups. Relying on Slovak as well as foreign literature and researches, the author describes how specific features of the communication in the given environment can be analysed. She claims that such communication can be studied partially or comprehensively – partial researches rely on the analysis of a particular level of language (mainly lexical) and deal with non-standard lexical components of sociolect (slang, argot, professionalisms); complex researches rely on the communication situation and other situational parameters and deal with the communication register. Based on the characteristics of slang, argot, and professionalisms and on the relationship between sociolect and communication register, the communication within given spheres can be comprehensively analysed by induction or deduction – from non-standard lexis to sociolect to communication register or vice versa.

Kolofík, Tomáš
In: , s. 42 - 47. ISBN:

Abstract

The aim of the research was to analyze the attitudes of the seventh grade pupils in primary schools in Banská Bystrica towards Physical and Sports Education in term of intersexual differences. The research sample consisted of 415 pupils of which 222 were boys and 193 girls. A standardized questionnaire by Sivák et al. (2000) was used to obtain factual material. The research has found that 208 pupils (50.12 %) adopted positive attitudes to Physical and Sports Education, 186 pupils (44.82 %) had indifferent attitudes and only 21 pupils (5.06 %) took negative attitudes, while the majority of points were acquired by the pupils in the questions focused on cognitive part of the attitudes. Slightly fewer points were achieved in the questions related to the conative part of the attitudes and the smallest number of points was achieved in the questions related to the emotive part of the attitudes. For the needs of practice we recommend improving the educational process of the physical and sport education – implementing the modern physical-educational programmes to the schools within which the maximum number of interesting physical and sport activities and various discussions with successful sportsmen would be realised. We further recommend activating the cooperation of schools with sport clubs and leisure time centres.
